Had a meal here with my parents and some friends the day before Comrades 2025. It was so nice to see the area coming back to life and the restaurant was also lovely! Good work is being done in Howick! I hope you have many years of success!

Everything was perfect! The best sandwich i have ever had in my life. The milkshakes are amazing. And the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Wow! What a wonderful new addition to the KZN Midlands. Our sourdough toasties were so delicious and the cappuccino was superb. We also shared a side plate of chips. The garden is beautiful as is the decor. We had a relaxing lunch and we are definitely visiting again. They use coffee from Manna Roastery and you must buy the tomato pickles for home.

Beautiful place, lovely jungle gym for kids and delicious cappuccino.

The coffee was exceptional — even for a true coffee snob — and the sourdough toastie was absolutely delicious. Unlike the usual hard-crusted sourdough, it was perfectly balanced. You can tell the owner takes great pride in providing excellent service.

A hidden gem just up the road from Howick Falls! The Hall Café offers a peaceful garden setting that’s perfect for a relaxed breakfast or coffee break. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, which made the experience even better. The Terbodore coffee was top-notch — rich, smooth, and full of flavour — and the bacon, eggs, and toast breakfast hit the spot. A great spot to unwind and enjoy some local charm. Highly recommended!

Such a gem! The staff are lovely and the signature frappes are delish. Indoor and outdoor seating, plus space to work and charge your laptop.
